When You Stop Waiting for “Ready” and Just Get to Work
“You don’t grow by waiting until the fear disappears — you grow by moving anyway.”
This morning started slower than planned - and honestly, I needed it. Sleeping in wasn’t laziness; it was recovery. But now that I’m up, I can feel it. Today is going to move fast.
This week is already packed, and that’s because I’m prepping for a full week off from December 21st to the 28th. Which, if we’re being real, means I’m doing two weeks’ worth of work in one. My calendar is that full right now - aggressive, but intentional. I want to walk into that break knowing things are handled, supported, and not hanging over my head.
Last night, someone I trust gave me some very direct advice - the kind that hits because it’s true. She told me to stop holding back and just put all of it out there. Not only the pieces I think my audience is ready for. Not just the “safe” stuff.
Because the truth is, I’ve been building a LOT over the last six months. Programs. Retreats. Value offers. Community spaces. Freebies - so many freebies. And if I’m being really honest, a lot of it is more than halfway done… just waiting on me to finish it.
This is where the real work shows up.
Even with all the growth, the healing, the boundaries, the alignment - I still run into confidence blocks. Worth blocks. Value blocks. I know I “should” be past them by now, but that’s not how being human works. The difference now is I recognize them. I acknowledge them. And then - instead of freezing - I do the work anyway.
So today starts with a few client priorities, including a Zoom with a new website client, and then I’m shifting the focus back to my own projects. Yesterday technically should’ve been a “me day,” but I followed the energy instead. A client needed a win, and I knew I could give it to her, so I did. No resentment. No burnout. Just alignment.
That’s something I’m really proud of - being able to tell the difference now.
My coffee’s done, which means it’s time for a Slim (yes, still obsessed with my Plexus products - FOR LIFE), loading up the wood stove, and getting ready for the day ahead.
I’m not waiting for perfect confidence.
I’m not waiting to feel “ready enough.”
I’m moving because the work matters - and because I trust myself enough now to follow through.

The Reset, Root & Rise Retreat is officially open, and there are only a couple of expert spots left.
If you’re feeling called — either as an attendee or as an expert — don’t wait. Once the spots are filled, they’re filled.
