Trust the Fuck No
"Not every opportunity is meant for you. Some are simply here to help you strengthen your discernment."
This morning started with me diving into a shiny new AI feature inside one of the platforms I use. Now, before anyone gets excited, let me be clear - I absolutely see the value in it. In fact, I can already think of several clients who would probably love it. It could save them time, help them create content faster, and remove a whole lot of friction from their process.
For them, it would be amazing.
For me? Big fat goose egg. LOL
The more I played with it, the more I realized something felt off. Not wrong. Not bad. Not broken. Just... not aligned. And the funny thing is, a few years ago I probably would've ignored that feeling. I would've convinced myself that because it was useful, because other people were using it, because it was the "smart" thing to do, I should find a way to make it work.
Today's version of me doesn't do that anymore.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned over the last few years is that not everything that works is meant for me. Not every strategy, platform, coach, community, or opportunity is mine to pursue. Sometimes something can be absolutely brilliant and still be a no.
And honestly, I think that's where a lot of people get stuck.
We're taught to override ourselves. To ignore the feeling. To push through. To convince ourselves that if enough people are doing something, then it must be right. But the older I get, the more I realize that success isn't about collecting every tool available. It's about knowing which ones actually fit your energy and support the way you're designed to move through the world.
Maybe that's the Human Design nerd in me talking. Maybe it's the astrology. Maybe it's just age and experience. Whatever it is, I've learned to pay attention when my body says no.
Not the fear-based no. Not the "what if I fail?" no. Not the "what will people think?" no.
I'm talking about that deep, calm, immediate knowing. The one that doesn't need a ten-page explanation. The one that simply says, "Nope. Not this."
What's funny is that today's chart feels a lot like that too. There's a strong energy around self-trust, identity, and making decisions based on your own inner authority rather than external pressure. For me, it feels like the Universe keeps repeating the same lesson in different ways: stop looking outside yourself for answers you already have.
And honestly? I needed that reminder.
Because if I'm being real, I don't want my brand sounding like everyone else's. I don't want my blogs sounding like they came from a robot. I don't want my community feeling like it was assembled from a template.
I want people to feel me when they read something. I want them to hear my voice, my stories, my weird sense of humour, my swearing, my rabbit holes, and my random references to Human Design, astrology, gardening, nervous systems, business, and whatever else happens to be bouncing around in my brain that day.
Could AI help me write faster? Absolutely.
Would it sound like me? Not even close.
And that's where the answer became really simple.
No.
Not because it's bad. Not because it's wrong. Because it's not for me. At least not in this season.
So today's reminder is this: trust the fuck no.
Trust the thing that doesn't feel right even when it looks good on paper. Trust the nudge that says walk away. Trust the feeling that says there might be a better path for you.
Because sometimes the most aligned thing you can do isn't saying yes. It's being brave enough to say no.
And honestly, three cheers for being able to hear that nudge when it shows up.
