Stop Waiting for Permission: Trusting Your Intuition

Stop Waiting For Permission

"At some point you realize nobody is coming to hand you the green light."

The weather can't seem to make up its mind lately.

One minute it's raining. The next minute it's sunny. Then we're back to storm warnings, followed by blue skies, followed by more rain. Honestly, it's feeling a lot like the energy I've been sitting in lately. Not chaotic exactly. More like a whole bunch of moving pieces trying to settle into their proper place.

This morning started pretty much the way most mornings do around here. Coffee in hand. Quick glance at the calendar. Looking over the ever-evolving to-do list that somehow manages to reproduce overnight. A little planning. A little multitasking. A little laughing at myself because while I'm writing this blog, I'm also thinking about content, readings, Discord, newsletters, client work, and approximately twelve other things.

Manifesting Generator life lol

The funny thing is, if you had told me a year ago that I'd be sitting here feeling this calm while juggling this many moving pieces, I probably would've laughed. Not because the workload is smaller. If anything, it's bigger. The difference is that I trust myself more now.

That's been the biggest lesson lately.

Not strategy.

Not marketing.

Not technology.

Trust.

Trusting that I know what I'm doing.

Trusting the nudges that keep showing up.

Trusting that when something keeps calling my attention, it's probably there for a reason.

I've noticed something interesting over the last few weeks. Every time I get excited about something, there's this brief moment where my brain immediately wants confirmation. A second opinion. A validation check. A quick "hey, do you think this is a good idea?" from someone else.

The old version of me would've stayed there.

Waiting.

Researching.

Planning.

Overthinking.

Collecting opinions.

Looking for proof.

The current version of me still notices the urge, but she doesn't unpack and stay awhile.

Because the truth is, most of the things I'm building right now didn't come from someone else's roadmap. They came from intuition. The readings. The community. The website rebuild. The newsletter. The workshops. Even the idea of adding live mini reads on TikTok. None of those started because somebody told me to do them.

They started because something inside me kept saying, "Pay attention to this."

And the more I listen, the louder that voice gets.

Maybe that's part of the energy I'm feeling right now. With Mercury's shadow beginning tomorrow and the New Moon just around the corner, it feels like a reminder to slow down enough to hear yourself. Not the noise. Not the experts. Not the endless opinions floating around the internet.

Yourself.

Because if I've learned anything through this entire rebuild, it's that intuition gets easier to trust when you actually use it.

Kind of like a muscle.

The more you exercise it, the stronger it becomes.

The more you ignore it, the harder it is to hear.

So today I'm not looking for permission.

Not from a coach.

Not from a guru.

Not from social media.

Not even from the little fearful voice in my own head that occasionally likes to remind me of every possible thing that could go wrong.

I'm listening to the voice that's reminding me of everything that could go right.

And honestly?

That's the voice that's gotten me this far.
