Spiritual CEO Energy Means Not Reacting to Every Good Idea
“Just because you can create more doesn’t mean you should.”
We’re in the middle of a snow storm today.
The kind where everything slows down whether you planned for it or not. The sky is heavy, the world is quiet, and the pace shifts without asking your permission.
And honestly? It feels fitting.
On social media, I’ve been talking about the Year of the Fire Horse - the boldness, the forward momentum, the unapologetic drive. I even did a deeper dive on it and have the next 12 days pre-scheduled and ready to roll.
Now here’s the thing.
My brain immediately went,
“Well… if we’re doing 12 posts, maybe we need 12 deep-dive blogs too.”
Old me would’ve said yes instantly.
More content.
More value.
More proof.
More doing.
But Spiritual CEO energy doesn’t react to every good idea.
It discerns.
Just because I can knock out 12 animal deep dives in a couple days doesn’t mean I need to. That would be performance. That would be me proving something. And I’m not in that season anymore.
The blog is meant to be a window into my world. A pulse check. A grounded reflection layered with value. Not a content factory trying to keep up with its own creativity. Which is why sometimes I miss days - I SWEAR I'm working on it! lol
There’s a difference between expansion and overextension.
The Fire Horse energy isn’t about chaos. It’s about directed power. It’s about choosing where the flame goes instead of letting it burn everything.
Right now? The snow storm is reminding me that grounded power beats frantic output every time.
Going forward, this blog stays exactly what it’s meant to be:
A window into my life.
A layer of value.
A call-up (not a call-out).
And unapologetic Spiritual CEO energy.
I’m done playing small.
I’m done over-explaining.
And I’m definitely done creating just to keep up appearances.
If I deep dive the 12 animals, it’ll be because it aligns - not because I feel pressure to complete a content set.
That’s leadership.
Sometimes the most powerful move isn’t creating more. It’s choosing what not to create - and standing solid in that decision.
