The Puzzle Pieces Are Finally Starting to Fit
“Sometimes clarity doesn't arrive as one big revelation. Sometimes it comes one puzzle piece at a time, until you finally begin to see the picture you've been building all along.”
Well, it's Tuesday, and apparently that beautiful, organized to-do list I was so excited about yesterday had other plans. LOL. I didn't get nearly as many things checked off as I'd hoped, and today is getting off to a slightly slower start than originally planned. But you know what? I'm actually okay with that. I got to spend part of my morning on a call with one of my girls, hearing all about her adventures in Valencia so far, and honestly, those are the kinds of conversations I love. A little catching up, a few laughs and getting to hear about someone else's adventures before diving into another day of work. Not exactly what was written on the calendar, but sometimes those unexpected moments are worth more than another checkmark on a list.
So now here I am, sitting at my desk, eating my lunch, listening to my frequencies and trying to figure out what the hell I'm going to write about today. And the funny thing is, I've got approximately a million things running through my brain, but every time I try to settle on one, my thoughts wander right back to the same place. This absolutely fascinating spiritual awakening, or expansion, or whatever the hell you want to call it, that I seem to be right smack in the middle of. LOL. And let me tell you, it's been one hell of a ride lately.
Between astrology, Human Design, the Hindu holidays and traditions I've been researching, the reading I received from a friend last night and all the little things that keep catching my attention along the way, my brain is in a constant state of information overload. But here's the weird part. I'm absolutely LOVING it. One minute I'm feeling completely overwhelmed by everything I'm learning, and the next something clicks, a couple of ideas connect and suddenly something I've been trying to understand for months, sometimes years, makes a whole lot more sense.
It's like having this giant puzzle spread out across the kitchen table, except nobody gave me the picture on the front of the box. LOL. I've got pieces everywhere, some that obviously belong together, others that look like they came from a completely different puzzle, and a whole bunch that I've been staring at for so long I'm starting to wonder whether they're even supposed to be there. And then, out of nowhere, I'll come across something in a book, hear a conversation, look at one of my charts or have a realization while doing something completely ordinary, and suddenly another couple of pieces slide right into place.
And every time that happens, I get that little rush of excitement. You know the one where you stop whatever you're doing and think, HOLY SHIT. THAT'S IT!
Now, I know not everyone approaches life the way I do. Some people are perfectly happy taking things at face value, following a familiar path and not questioning every little thing that catches their attention. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. But apparently I missed the memo about keeping things simple. LOL. I've always been curious, always wanted to understand how things work and always had a million questions about why we do the things we do. And the older I get, the more I seem to enjoy exploring those questions instead of feeling like I need to have all the answers.
Lately, a lot of that curiosity has been taking me deeper into spirituality, ancient traditions, astrology and Human Design. I've been learning about Hindu celebrations, the stories behind different deities and the symbolism woven into traditions that have existed for thousands of years. I've been revisiting my astrology charts, looking at planetary transits and exploring how different interpretations might relate to the things happening in my life. And of course, there's Human Design, which seems to give me another dozen things to research every time I think I've finally wrapped my head around something. LOL.
What I find so fascinating isn't necessarily any one system on its own. It's the way exploring different perspectives keeps giving me new questions to ask. Sometimes I notice similarities between traditions, sometimes I discover important differences, and sometimes something simply makes me look at an old belief or experience in a completely new way. I don't need everything to agree with everything else, and I certainly don't feel like I have to adopt every belief I come across. I'm enjoying the learning, the history, the conversations and the opportunity to understand how other people have made sense of life, purpose and the world around them.
And somewhere in the middle of all that learning, I've also been looking at my own life a little differently.
Because here's the thing. Some of the projects and ideas I'm working on right now aren't new. Not even close. A few of them have been floating around in my brain for YEARS. One of them first came into my heart decades ago, long before I had any idea what I might eventually do with it. And then there are the newer ideas, the ones that have only shown up in the last few weeks or months but somehow feel connected to things I've been carrying around for a very long time.
For the longest time, I couldn't quite figure out how all those things belonged together. I knew what I was passionate about. I knew there were certain things I wanted to create, certain people I wanted to help and experiences I wanted to bring into the world. But every time I tried to look at the bigger picture, there were gaps. Pieces that didn't seem to connect. Ideas that felt important but didn't necessarily fit into the plans I had at the time.
And if you know anything about me, you know how much I LOVE having a plan. LOL.
I'm the woman with multiple calendars, detailed to-do lists, project outlines and enough notes to probably wallpaper half my office. I like knowing what I'm working toward and having some sort of idea how I'm going to get there. So having all these ideas floating around without being able to see exactly where they belong hasn't always been comfortable. There have definitely been times when I've questioned whether I was trying to do too many things, whether some of those old dreams were ever going to become anything more than ideas, or whether I needed to put a few of them away and focus on something else.
But lately, something feels different.
Every few days, it seems like another piece of that giant puzzle finds its place. Something I've learned connects with an idea I've been developing. A conversation gives me a different perspective. A project I've had sitting on the back burner suddenly makes more sense in relation to something I'm working on now. And little by little, I'm starting to see how some of these things might fit together in ways I hadn't considered before.
Does that mean I've got the entire picture figured out? Oh, HELL no. LOL. There are still a good dozen pieces sitting there that I'm looking at thinking, How the fuck are YOU supposed to fit into all this? And I'm sure there are pieces I haven't even discovered yet. But instead of feeling like I need to force everything into place right this second, I'm getting more comfortable allowing some of those questions to sit there until I have a better understanding of what to do with them.
Which, for someone whose brain is constantly running about seventeen different conversations at once, is actually a pretty big deal.
Maybe it's the personal growth work I've been doing. Maybe it's all the things I've been learning, the people I've been connecting with or the conversations that have helped me look at things differently. Maybe it's the spiritual guidance I believe I've been receiving along the way. Or maybe it's simply the result of years of experiences, mistakes, lessons and ideas finally starting to come together. I honestly don't know, and for once I'm not particularly worried about having a perfectly packaged explanation.
I'm just enjoying the process.
And believe me, that doesn't mean every day feels peaceful and magical. LOL. There are still moments when my brain feels like it's going to explode from everything I'm trying to process. There are still days when I look at my calendar and wonder how the hell I'm supposed to get everything done. And there are definitely times when I get so excited about a new idea that I have to remind myself I already have about fourteen other things in progress.
But there's also this incredible feeling of excitement underneath it all. The kind that makes me want to keep learning, keep exploring and keep working toward the things that have been calling to me for so long. It's not that I suddenly have all the answers. It's that I'm starting to feel more confident about following the questions.
And maybe that's what clarity looks like sometimes.
Not a perfectly detailed roadmap with every turn already marked out, but enough understanding to recognize the next step. Enough trust in yourself to keep moving even when you can't see exactly where the road is going. And enough patience to let some things unfold without trying to control every little detail.
Now, don't worry, I'm not about to abandon my calendars and to-do lists and start floating through life waiting for the universe to handle my deadlines. LOL. I've still got a business to run, clients to support and programs to finish. And today, one of those priorities is getting through the final review of Backwards to BadAss so the workbooks can move on to their final stage. That's a project I've poured a whole lot of time, energy and thought into, and I'm really looking forward to getting it across the finish line.
Once that's done, the plan is to tackle the videos later this week, which means we're getting closer and closer to having another piece of the business ready to launch. And honestly, that's exciting in its own right. Because as much as I love exploring the bigger spiritual picture, there's something incredibly satisfying about taking an idea out of your head, putting in the work and watching it become something real.
As for the other projects I've been working on and the ideas that keep showing up? Well, you'll hear about those when I'm ready to share them. LOL. Some things are still taking shape, some need a little more research and others are waiting for me to finish what's already on my plate before I give them the attention they deserve. But I can tell you this much. There's a whole lot happening behind the scenes, and I'm getting more excited about where it's all heading.
So today, I'm going to enjoy this slightly slower start, finish my lunch, let my frequencies play and get back to work. I'm going to keep making notes, asking questions, learning about the things that fascinate me and celebrating those little moments when another puzzle piece finally clicks into place.
And I'm going to stop worrying quite so much about the pieces that haven't found their homes yet.
Because after years of trying to figure out how all these different dreams, ideas and passions might fit together, I'm finally beginning to see a picture emerging. It might not look exactly the way I originally imagined, and I'm pretty damn sure there are going to be a few surprises along the way, but that's part of what makes it exciting.
Who knows? Maybe a few years from now I'll look back at this season of my life and realize that all those seemingly random rabbit holes, conversations, books, charts and ideas were helping me discover something I couldn't quite see at the time.
Or maybe I'll just laugh at how many notebooks it took me to figure the damn thing out. LOL.
Either way, I've got a whole lot of learning left to do, some pretty big dreams to bring to life and a puzzle that's finally starting to make a little more sense.
Let's go Do the Dang Thang!
