My Brain Is Buzzing Today
"Some days clarity doesn't come from doing more... it comes from stopping long enough to hear yourself think."
Good morning.
Have you ever had one of those mornings where you know you have a million things to do, you're genuinely excited about every single one of them... and yet you can't seem to decide which one deserves your attention first?
Welcome to my morning.
It's almost funny because there's nothing actually wrong. Client work is rolling. There are launches just around the corner that I'm ridiculously excited about. My notebook somehow keeps growing new pages of ideas every time I open it. Community is taking shape. Systems are getting refined. Mercury Retrograde has actually been pretty good to me from a business standpoint because it's forced me to review offers, tweak workflows, and really look at what I want these businesses to become over the next few months. On paper, everything is moving exactly the way I hoped it would.
So why does my brain feel like a beehive someone just poked with a stick?
It's this strange buzzing feeling that I honestly don't know how else to describe. Not anxiety. Not overwhelm. Not excitement. Somehow it's all three while being none of them at the same time. My thoughts keep bouncing from one project to another before I've even finished thinking about the first one. I'll open my calendar, remember a launch I need to prep, think about a client, remember I need graphics, wonder if I should jump on TikTok, realize I haven't answered an email, and then somehow end up standing in the kitchen wondering why I walked in there in the first place. If you've got ADHD, you'll probably be laughing because you know exactly what I'm talking about.
Of course... because I'm me... I started checking things.
The astrology? Yep.
Human Design? Yep.
And then I pulled up the Schumann Resonance.
Well...
That certainly explained why I felt called to look.
Now, I'm not saying every spike in the Schumann Resonance is responsible for how people feel. I don't think life is ever that black and white. But after years of paying attention to my own patterns, I've learned that sometimes it's worth noticing what's happening around me as much as what's happening inside me. Whether it's the astrology, the Human Design transits, the Earth's electromagnetic activity, or simply the fact that I'm juggling a lot right now, something is asking me to slow down instead of trying to push harder.
And that's exactly what I'm going to do.
When I hit publish on this blog, I'm not diving straight into my to-do list. I'm not opening another tab. I'm not trying to squeeze in one more task because I "should." I'm going to spend the next thirty minutes doing exactly what I know my body is asking for. I'm going to sit down, ground myself, meditate, breathe, and let this buzzing settle a little. Then I'll come back, look at this ever-growing list, and decide what actually deserves my attention today instead of trying to give every single thing equal weight.
One thing I've learned over the years is that productivity isn't just about doing more.
Sometimes productivity is knowing that the next most productive thing you can do... is absolutely nothing for thirty minutes.
My launches will still be there.
My clients will still be there.
The to-do list will probably still be just as long.
But hopefully...
I'll be there too.
Fully present when I finally decide where to begin.
