Calm Weekend… Manic Monday
“Sometimes the quiet weekends are just the universe letting you take a breath before the next wave hits.”
This weekend had a really nice rhythm to it.
Nothing overly exciting. Nothing chaotic. Just that steady mix of life, work, and a little bit of breathing room in between. The kind of weekend that lets your brain slow down just enough to catch up with everything that’s been happening.
Part of that rhythm was my usual weekend routine - a bit of pre-planning for the upcoming week, scheduling out some client content, organizing notes, and getting a sense of what the next few days are going to look like.
But the best part of the weekend was that my husband is home for a few days, which always shifts the energy around here a little. When you’re used to someone working away, those stretches when they’re home feel different. The house feels fuller. The pace changes a bit. And suddenly those little moments of downtime become a lot more important.
So this weekend had a mix of both worlds.
A bit of work, because that’s the nature of running your own business. But also some quieter time together, which is something I’ve learned not to rush past anymore.
Those calmer weekends are underrated, especially when you know the upcoming week is going to be busy.
And this week?
Yeah… this one is definitely not a slow one.
One of my clients is speaking at a major women’s event, which is exciting to watch unfold. She’s the one stepping onto the digital stage and sharing her message, but behind the scenes we’ve been getting a lot of the supporting pieces ready so everything flows smoothly around that moment.
That includes things like optimizing her freebie so the right people can easily connect with her afterward, organizing all the little details that tend to come with public speaking engagements, and making some strategic tweaks to her calendar and website so everything is ready for the attention and traffic that tends to follow events like that.
Because the speaking engagement itself is only one part of the story.
There’s always the ripple effect afterward.
The people who hear the message and want to learn more.
The ones who download the freebie later that evening.
The curious ones who open a browser and start digging through the website to see what else the person offers.
If the systems around that moment aren’t ready ahead of time, that opportunity can slip through your fingers pretty quickly.
So a lot of what I do with clients happens before and after those visible moments. Making sure the structure is in place so when the spotlight shows up, the business can actually support the attention that comes with it. I am so happy to be a support to them and make sure that the tech is there to support them.
At the same time, I’m also starting the outline for a full website build for a brand new client this week.
That early stage of a project is always one of my favorite parts of the process.
It’s the phase where you get to step back and look at the big picture. Mapping out the structure, figuring out the flow, deciding how the messaging connects from one page to the next so the website actually tells a story instead of just existing as a collection of pages.
A good website feels like a home for a brand.
It welcomes people in, shows them around, and helps them understand what the business is really about. And of course, like most entrepreneurs, I also have a few of my own projects simmering away in the background.
Ideas being refined.
Programs being tweaked.
A handful of bigger picture pieces slowly starting to click into place.
So yes… the weekend had a calm, steady pace.
But Monday has officially arrived, and the momentum has definitely picked up. And because the universe apparently enjoys layering a little cosmic timing into things, the astrology this week is pretty interesting too.
On Wednesday we have the Pisces New Moon.
Pisces energy tends to feel a little watery and dreamy. Intuition is strong, creativity is flowing, but clarity can sometimes feel like it’s sitting just a little out of reach.
It’s the kind of energy where ideas are brewing under the surface. You can feel things shifting. Pieces are moving into place somewhere in the background… but the full picture hasn’t quite snapped into focus yet.
If you’ve felt a little foggy lately, or like your brain has been bouncing between inspiration and distraction, that energy actually makes a lot of sense.
Pisces does that.
It invites reflection. Creativity. Daydreaming. Letting things unfold without forcing them too quickly.
But the interesting part of this week is what happens right afterward.
Because by Friday we hit a pretty significant energetic shift.
Mercury Retrograde wraps up and moves us into the shadow period, the Spring Equinox arrives, and just like that we officially move into Aries season.
Which is quite the jump energetically. Pisces is water. Reflection. Feeling things out. Aries is fire.
Action. Momentum. Forward movement.
So the end of this week carries this really interesting transition where that foggy, reflective energy starts to lift and something much more active begins to take its place.
The Equinox itself is about balance - day and night meeting in the middle - but Aries season tends to bring that first real spark of movement for the astrological new year.
It’s the moment where the question shifts from “What am I feeling or thinking about?” to “Okay… what am I actually going to do with this?”
And honestly, after a few weeks of retrograde energy and reflection, I think a lot of people are ready for that shift.
I know I am.
Because the ideas have been brewing for a while now. The plans are slowly lining up. And it feels like the universe is about to switch from that softer, reflective energy into something with a little more fire behind it.
For now, this week looks like a mix of client work, creative planning, and probably a fair amount of coffee while the gears keep turning behind the scenes.
But that’s the rhythm of building something real.
Some weekends are quiet and grounding.
Some Mondays show up with a long to-do list and a lot of momentum.
And sometimes the cosmos decides to move things from fog to fire right in the middle of it all.
Honestly… I’m kind of looking forward to that part.

If the last few weeks have felt a little foggy or slow moving, you’re probably not imagining it. Between retrograde energy and this week’s Pisces New Moon, a lot of people have been in reflection mode.
But with the Equinox and Aries season arriving at the end of the week, momentum is about to shift.
So if you’ve been waiting for the right moment to move forward on something…
This might be it.
